Conversation briefings & memory
Catch up from recorded evidence and review what the team’s AI should remember.

Start with the conversation briefing
Select Briefing in the chat header when entering a chat. It organises the goal, accepted decisions, recorded progress, blockers/checks, and next action. Source evidence shows what the draft is based on.
The initial briefing is assembled from recorded activity. It distinguishes AI-reported work from saved changes and approved decisions. It is a starting point to review, not a guarantee that the task is finished.
Edit and update a briefing
Choose Edit briefing, correct the fields, and select Save briefing. If sources changed, Needs updating prompts you to check them. Refresh evidence, keep draft updates the source version while preserving your draft; Replace draft from sources rebuilds it.
Concurrent edits can require a refresh. Review the current evidence before saving again.
Only the chat host can publish a briefing and its evidence to guests using the explicit sharing checkbox. Inspect it first: evidence may include workspace decisions or saved-change details.
Review room memory
Select Room guide in the room toolbar, then Review room memory. Select a record and inspect Source evidence, Open source chat, related memories, and review history.
Completed conversations can create historical episodes. An approved episode records that an exchange happened; it does not certify every AI assertion. Facts and procedures need review before they become approved guidance.
With edit permission, turn an exchange into a fact or procedure, enter what the team should remember, and Save proposal. Review its evidence before approving it. You can retract an incorrect memory, replace an old decision through the available approval controls, or Link code change to a verified implementation.
What AI can recall
Memory recall respects the user’s room access and the record’s approval and source state. Proposals, retracted claims, and superseded decisions are not treated as current approved facts. Project-code episodes may wait for their exact saved changes to be published.
Background indexing or optional extraction may be pending. The memory dialog shows that state; manually reviewed evidence remains available. Updating memory does not undo code changes or erase already-visible chat messages.
