AI review & teammate approval
Request AI feedback or record a teammate’s decision against an exact saved version.
Ask AI to review
Select Ask AI to review in the file-manager actions. It inserts a review request into your composer. Read or edit the prompt, choose the intended model, and send it when ready.
This action requires the same computer/provider readiness as any AI prompt. It does not notify a human reviewer or record approval. Inspect the AI’s findings and verify them against the files.
Request a teammate review
Open Teammate review from the chat controls.
- Confirm the displayed saved version.
- Choose another eligible editor as reviewer.
- Explain the requirements, risks, or files to inspect.
- Select Request teammate review.
The request appears in that person’s workspace Collaboration inbox. If no reviewer is available, invite another editor or explicitly grant an accepted guest editing access.
Approve or request changes
The assigned reviewer opens the source chat, inspects the saved changes, and enters findings in the review panel. They can Approve the displayed version or Request changes with a note.
Approval applies only to the requested saved commit. If the repository changes, the older review is labeled as an earlier version and does not approve the new work. Request a new review after those changes.
Reviews preserve their history. The requester can cancel a pending request. Neither approval nor a request for changes starts AI or publishes code.
