Share a chat with a guest
Invite someone outside your organisation to read or comment on one conversation.

Create and send a guest link
The chat host can open Share chat in an existing AI conversation.
- Enter the guest’s email address.
- Choose Can view or Can comment.
- Select Create invitation link.
- Select Copy link and send the complete link to your guest.
The link includes an invitation fragment. Do not remove the part after #invite=. The guest signs in with the exact invited email, or creates and verifies an account for it. Creating a link does not automatically email it.
What the guest can see
A guest can read that chat’s existing and future human/AI messages, including code or sensitive text included in those messages. Can comment also enables feedback. Other chats, repository files, tool access, and workspace settings are not automatically shared.
A host can separately publish the conversation briefing and its evidence. Review that content before enabling guest visibility.
Guest access lasts 7 days from invitation creation, or until revoked. A replacement invitation replaces the same person’s previous chat access. This is different from the 14-day organisation invitation. Accepted guest chats appear in Shared with me.
Read and respond to feedback
Guests with commenting permission write in the shared conversation’s feedback area. Hosts and authorised teammates can open Feedback directly in the room’s chat. The workspace Collaboration inbox links to unread feedback and review requests.
Use Preview shared chat & reply to comments if you want to inspect the guest-facing view. See feedback and inbox for the direct reply flow.
Revoke or renew a guest invitation
Open Share chat again to see Waiting to join, Joined, Expired, or Access removed status. Use Revoke chat invitation to remove that grant. To extend access, create a new invitation for the intended email and send the new link.
Revocation stops future access through that invitation; it cannot recall text someone already saw. If you separately granted project or room editing access, manage that membership separately.
