Activity & checkpoints

Inspect uploaded work, compare checkpoints, and prepare a safe continuation after a disconnect.

Read synchronized activity

Open an AI conversation and select Activity & checkpoints. The dialog shows when activity last synchronized. Select a turn to read uploaded activity and use Load next activity for additional output.

This history remains available when the driver’s computer is offline. It only contains activity that reached the server; it does not reveal unsynced work still on that computer.

Inspect and select a checkpoint

  1. Open the Code checkpoint picker.
  2. Choose an uploaded checkpoint and inspect the listed files and diff.
  3. Confirm that you are the current driver and the chat has no running or queued turn.
  4. Select Use checkpoint for next turn.
  5. Review your next prompt and send it when ready.

Selection alone does not run an agent or immediately restore files. The next prompt restores the selected checkpoint locally. Existing local edits can block restoration, so preserve and resolve them first. Staged and unstaged changes are tracked separately.

Recover interrupted work

If the driver is unavailable or a turn is abandoned, a room owner may use Recover unavailable driver / abandoned turn in the handoff dialog when the server permits recovery. Recovery does not magically recover unsynced files or migrate a live process.

After recovery or an accepted handoff, read the conversation, inspect uploaded checkpoints, and explicitly send the next prompt. A stale or conflicting action can be rejected; refresh the current state before retrying.
